My first day in Paris


I'll take my fone card today. i was lookin up on skype rates for calls to fones but its too expensive and the card proves to be cheaper.

But sadly we dont have a fone connection at this house so i jus might have to take a mobile fone sim card as well. uske baare me bhi abhi find out karna hai, but tht'll take place on monday hi.

hamari aeroflot ki flight left on time n arrived in russia on time too.the air hostesses n the plane were really pathetic . air hostesses dekhne me theek thi but unka attitude bohot hi frigid tha. in moscow we had a stopover of around 4 hrs n we took a flight to paris. paris me we landed at around 2:30 local time, ie, 6 pm IST.
airport se we took a bus to a place called Gare du Nord n from there in a metro to Pantin. we had SSSOOOO much luggage n we had to carry it up n down the stairs in the stations, sab log marrr gaye. when we reached the pantin station we had to carry the luggage on foot searchin for the place. nobody in the area seemed to know where it was so we were askin anyone n everyone. there was a french couple who helped us a lot, idhar udhar hamare saath ghoome bhi, gave us water from their house. altho they were livin in a 1 room appt n had 3 kids to feed, unka dil asli me bohot bada tha . finally as we were roamin about n apparently heading the right direction the landlord of our flat came lookin for us in his car, so we put the bigger bags in the car n 1 person went with him, with the others comin on foot havin taken the correct directions from him.
havin landed at 2:30 , we reached our place at 7 !!!!!!!!! but in the process we saved a Rs 1000 per head for the taxi charges .
that was how our journey finally ended

abhi mujhe ye college ke foreign students get together me jana hai, n then tonight i'm goin on an all night trip of Paris. tonights some Nuit Blanche, wherein a lot of things wud be free entry types . i've brought my camera along so will click a lot of fotos n theres a camcoder too, to fir khoob saari footage ho jayegi hamare paas.
i'll tell u abt my yesterday n today's activities in tomorrow's mail.
